THE BOLDEST TRENDS FROM SPRING/SUMMER 2018 CATWALKS.
Hi guys, let’s cheer up! It’s Spring! Forget the first gloomy, rainy weeks of March, and keep your spirits up while updating on the key looks from S/S 2018 catwalks to have on your radar for the following months. And you can bet your bottom dollar that they will not pass unnoticed!
1) Sparkles: to say that sequins and sparkles will be a big deal next summer is an understatement. In every fashion capital, glitter prevailed during the fashion week. I suggest you to style yours with a leather jacket, shirt or cardigan to give them daytime longevity.
2) Pastels: there’s no spring without pastels, so whether lilac, pink, lemon or duck egg blue, expect to see an array of fashion prettiest shades next season. If you don’t like to appear delicate and helpless, but prefer to add some edge to these saccharine colours, consider tailoring in ice-cream hues or wearing them in unexpected ways.
3) Checks: it looks as if heritage checks are going nowhere for the season ahead. Every brand tried to reinterpret this classic in a new and less traditional appeal, and above all, in a bright and summer-ready style.
4) Plastic: perfect for British summers, waterproof plastics in varying shades is a predominant look for Spring/Summer 2018, and this trend is expected to be everywhere in 12 months’ time.
5) Fringes: fringing made a surprise comeback this season and far from its most obvious and tired rock-festival-style interpretation. I must admit that this new sophisticated, empowered appeal makes it a favourite trend for me, having already some fringed skirts and jackets in my wardrobe from past seasons to mix and match with new pieces.
6) Bold colours: next Summer will be very bright indeed, if the catwalks are anything to go by. From New York to Paris, the shows were awash with vibrant, bold shades to suit every colouring. Personally, being not very willing to wearing all bold colours, I will stick to a few favourite ones such as orange, blue and green, which suit better my lightly tanned complexion and blonde hair.

7) Sheer: Transparency is a headlining trend and a summer favourite, especially if you choose sheer dresses and skirts revealing cycling shorts and full briefs.
8) Ruffles: ruffles added a feminine air yet again this season, with several designers incorporating them in their respective shows. Just use them as details in your daily looks, to avoid a carioca effect.
9) Cinderella shoes: if next season’s glitzy sequinned ready-to-wear is too much for you, then perhaps a sparkling Cinderella pair of shoes is an alternative, either Mary-Jane-style or with more pronounced heels.
10) Brocades: this trend, which is so remote from sobriety, will be omnipresent in shop windows during next months in different lively coloured creations, from dresses to shoes. Since I like would like to follow this trend, but only in moderation, my choice will certainly fall on accessories such as brocaded slippers or bags in bright colours, two must-haves perfect for enlivening any jean + tee outfit.

AT HOME: FASHION BLOGGER OFFICE INSPIRATION.
Whether you are working on your fashion blog, or spending a day away from corporate headquarters, let your surroundings inspire you by creating a chic home office.
Mixed delicate patterns, bright pastel colours and plenty of artwork will help spark creativity, while glam metallics and glam touches will make you feel like a million dollar girl.
Since when I started devoting some of my spare time to the creation of this blog, my home blogger space has been my sanctuary. My light soaked corner is filled with things I love, colours that sooth and pieces that inspire, in what I think is a perfect mix of classic and modern girly style.
1) Stylish furniture: my advice for building a successful business from your home is love where you work, that means you will love working, if your office or space you have created is a place you actually are fond of. Let a stylish new desk be your muse, choose a fashion-forward bureau you can use as a filing cabinet or splurge on the comfiest, but most beautiful chair you can find. You will also be more productive, if your surrounding is tidy. An organised white bookcase, perhaps with glass doors, like the one I chose, can be your best friend and wonderful to store either books or your best handbags and shoes.
2) Rugs and abat-jours: when you are bored with your floor, break your space up with a blast of colour: rugs are an easy way to update any room and they don’t have to break the budget. Abat-jours are also an elegant option to decorate your desk as well as to add suffuse light, when working late at night.
3) Decorative storage boxes: labelled boxes are a great way to organize the things you want out of sight. I painted my round hatboxes in a baby-pink hue and personalised them with cute details such as trimmings, charms and initials.
4) Chic accessories: finally, accent your space with cute accessories. I love pretty trays to hold my jewelry and phone when I write. Chic frames, fresh flowers and perfumed candles / catalytic lamps are a must for my work space. One of the latest trend is to choose a bar cart in the office to be decorated with books, candles, iconic perfume bottles and tiny jewelry boxes.
Dear readers, I hope this post inspires you to create that dreamy home office that is equally functional and fabulous, like mine... And... Good day to you!

International Women's Day

SPRING INSPIRATION: HERMÈS CLIC CLAC ENAMEL BRACELETS.
Happy women’s day, dear readers! 💐👩🏼‍⚖️
Today I’m going to review one of my favourite iconic accessories in the designer world: the Hermès Clic Clac H bracelets. These enamel pastel coloured bracelets are elegant, timeless, and instantly make a statement. Thanks to their unique style and iconic H exuding luxury, they are considered timeless showpieces which look gorgeous by themselves and literally can be worn with any outfit.
They come in three different thicknesses: narrow is 0,5" thick, wide is 1" thick and extra wide is 1,5" thick. As you can see, each thickness has a completely different aesthetic effect.  The narrow has a dainty appeal and would suit any wrist, no matter how small; whereas, the extra wide one is very striking and bold.

As for the finishing, the H Clic Clac bracelets are gold-plated or palladium-plated with many different enamel colours, each one with its own unique appeal. That's why some Hermès fans have many Clic Clac bracelets; my favourite ones are the pastel shades, so spring-reminiscent and wonderful to match with other bracelets.
The Hermès Clic Clac comes in two different sizes named PM and GM according to their diameter: the first one measures 7.5" and suits small to medium wrists, while the latter measures 8" and suits medium to large wrists.
Aside from being easily recognisable in the fashion world for its undeniable chicness, this bangle is very versatile  and can be stacked and worn with almost any other bracelet, giving them an expensive look.
And if bracelet stacks are the sexiest way to dress up a woman's wrist, stacks with Hermès are the absolute best!
So, check out all this jewellery eye-candy filled with Clic Clac combinations, Collier de chien and other gorgeous combinations. I find them totally drool-worthy!

5 OUTFITS EVERY SUCCESSFUL WOMAN WEARS.

On this unusual freezing first day of March, with the deep freeze expected to continue and  Europe braced for icy blizzards up to the end of the week, I still don't feel like writing about the new light-coloured spring outfits, so much coveted by all of us.
I wish to take the opportunity of giving you some ideas to inspire your outfit-style at work. We all know the glam of all those achingly chic businesswomen who couldn't care less if they tried. But what is the secret behind their polished, professional style? Their favourite fashion weapon is an infallible outfit formula anchored by clean lines and structured silhouettes. Whether you're a dress fan or prefer versatile separates, these four looks guarantee success. In my selection of basic pieces for success-exuding businesswomen, I took inspiration form the closet of characters of some famous TV series made in USA, unique in their mix of glamour and sobriety.
1) A structured dress: A fitted sheath dress with structural details is flattering to every woman and commands attention, and is even more if combined to a designers' bag.
2) A blouse + tailored trousers/skirt: A feminine blouse with unexpected details ensuring a modern effect is timeless with tailored trouser/skirt.
3) A chic sweater + pencil skirt:
A midi-length pencil skirt is the epitome of professional, and an eye-catching sweater takes the look one step further, especially if elevated by matching it with statement jewellery.
4) A modern suit: A bold pantsuit exudes confidence and style. I love this timeless silhouette for optimal sophistication.
5) A trench coat: the addition of a versatile piece like a trench coat is always the final glamorous touch to every elegant outfit, especially if matched to high heels.
Now, it's up to you to create new looks for your own glam-chic at work!
