HOME DÉCOR TREND FOR FALL 2018: WHITE PUMPKINS.
Happy Halloween dear readers! 🎃👻💀
Being that Halloween kicks off the holiday season, you probably don't want to "run out of déco solutions" for the one-day event, and perhaps not even cover your home in fake spiderwebs and scarecrows. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with going all out for the holiday, there are also plenty of ways to incorporate some Oct.31-themed pieces into your kitchen, living room, and entrance, without compromising your home style.
White pumpkins are all the rage, this year. They incorporate more of a classy and chic look when decorating for autumn, especially if your home palette is in neutral shades. A great way to make your autumn-season entertaining absolutely fabulous!
Actually, pumpkins, also known as "winter squash", have come in many colours for as long as there have been pumpkins. Not until recently, white pumpkins have been developed for their own charm and oddity, whereas before they used to be a random shade showing up amongst the orange and green ones at the local farmer's market.
Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner for all U.S. readers and autumn entertaining is a very common habit to anticipate the holiday season also in Europe, it might be time to start thinking about how you'll style your table, if you're hosting dinner for a group of people. Actually, even if you're not hosting, you can still use some of these ideas in your entryway or on the mantel. Personally, I find that white pumpkins look their best, if incorporated into a coloured pumpkins' arrangement, for a more subtle fall look around the house. So, I've rounded up my favourite centerpiece and tablescape ideas in a white + orange/variegated colour scheme, to help you decide which style best fits your home, if you, like me, are not prone to an all-white arrangement...
